2010 Dove Award Nominations Announced

The 2010 Dove Award Nominations were announced today in Nashville, TN by the Gospel Music Association. When We Fly, Ty's duet with Little Roy Lewis & Lizzy Long received a nomination for Bluegrass Recorded Song of The Year.  The song is included on Little Roy & Lizzy's CD Breaking Like Dawn which can be downloaded from iTunes or you can visit www.littleroyandlizzy.com for information on how to order the CD by mail. The 2010 awards will be handed out on Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee. The show will be hosted by Natalie Grant and Bart Millard and televised nationwide on the Gospel Music Channel (GMC) television network (www.gospelmusicchannel.com), on Sunday, April 25, 2010 from 8 p.m. – 10 p.m. EST.

Ty Herndon - Benefit Concert for Tim McNeill

On Friday, February 26, 2010, Ty will be at the Imperial Theatre in Augusta, GA singing his soon-to-be released CD "Journey On". This very special collection of songs, written by Mr.Herndon, is full of hope, faith and redemption.

Ty's performance will be part of a benefit concert to assist cancer warrior Tim McNeill with medical expenses, to help find a cure for cancer, and to furnish neck pillows for chemotherapy patients.

Ty will be joined by Daniel Kirkley, a Lancaster, S.C. native, who is one of Christian music's rising new stars. Daniel is quickly gaining new fans with his debut single, "My New Dawn".
